We had a fabulous dinner at Rattle Bar and Restaurant. The relaxed beachy ambience is the best vibe in the whole of the Coffs area.The staff are super professional and the share plates were excellent quality food, but felt casual and fun. We will definitely be back.
This is a lovely restaurant with good food and great cocktails! The atmosphere is great as it's close to the beach. The staff are really wonderful and friendly, which makes the experience of being there even better!
Rattle Restaurant (is still my favourite restaurant in Coffs), and it never disappoints! We always order the Byron Burrata, all the seafood is cooked to perfection (every time!) and the house made dips and bread are incredible. The lamb, honestly feeds 4-6, don’t be fooled, but we take it home for leftovers the next day because it’s fall off the bone good! Highly recommend

My partner and I stopped here for lunch and the service was sensational. The employees made sure we knew all the specials and were well looked after. They gave us amazing advice on the area as we aren’t from here! We definitely recommend stopping past and grabbing a bite or something to drink!
The perfect place to stop for a walk on the beach with your pup and a bite to eat. I loved bug salad and Labeneh. We had a table on the patio and a view of the beach. We’ll stop here for lunch again.
My husband and I visited just as a power outage occurred. The staff managed this situation amazingly! Food and drinks were fantastic! Vibe and beach views 10/10! We will definitely be back.

I went along for lunch wondering about gluten free options and was pleasantly suprised that Rattle make their own gluten free bread in house and it was delicious. It was served toasted and buttery. The fish also comes in a gluten free batter which was light and crunchy. The wine by the glass was delightful, the service excellent and overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I will happily return again. The location is quite special, being next to the beach, and a little secluded adds to the experience. The decor was nice superficially but on inspection could do with a refresh.

Squeezed us in last minute for an amazing dinner. We had the Vodka Pasta, Creme Brûlée and a starter of some delicious whipped Fetta. The whole meal was incredible. Service is always amazing. The best experience and great value.
Stumbled across this unassuming place and tried our luck. What a find. Not busy at all but still a nice vibe to it. Good view of the beach which was good as it was a big wave day. The owner waited on and very charismatic too. Perfect host. Had the whipped Feta and olive to start followed by the pork bun and king prawn spaghetti. All excellent. Very reasonable too. Very well deserved 5/5 for everything.
Just arrived home from Melbourne where I’ve been eating amazing food all week… The food at Rattle was such high quality and tasty and on-par and even better than the food I experienced in Melbourne. I would 100% recommend rattle to anyone looking for good food, good vibes and great service!!! Thank you for having us!!!
What a great experience. Oysters were so fresh. The cured fish was light and well balanced. The muhammara dip was perfectly smokey and sweat. The squid and chilli mayo was delicious and the nduja butter poached prawns were so rich and tasty and just divine. Crawled out of there after eating so much delicious food!!We can't wait to go back!!

We really enjoyed our meal here. The food was fresh and innovative, and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. There was a good selection of craft beer and a nice range of cocktails.The atmosphere was very relaxing and we soon felt at ease. The drive from Sawtell was worth it!We will be back, bringing family and friends this festive season.
Amazing dinner and wine, I had their special pasta and their house rose which was spectacular and service was efficient and friendly, highly recommend!
Interesting and tasty menu, albeit at Sydney prices. Decor is frankly really poor, basically a boring cafe of a day, trying to be grown up fancy pants restaurant of a night. At least use tablecloths when you’re serving $110 dishes. Same re paper napkins. Be better!Utterly freezing. Doors wide open, 8° outside. No heating/aircon, no music. Close the doors on a winter’s night. We left early, no dessert. Too freakin cold.But the food is really good, so too the cocktails. Staff engaging and friendly, service slick.A few simple evening polishes and we could have a winner.
The reception the speed and courtesy of the service and the delightful food made for a lovely dinner after a long drive during the day. The wine selection is small but well selected.

What's not to like ... Right on the corner with beach views. Really open feel with open French door windows, so in essence inside still feels like outside. Easy menu, great form share plates and good drink selection. It's nice in the winter so expect it would be phenomenal in summer. Nice relaxed feel and a nice way to relax 😁
Favourite place to go in the Coffs region! Excellent food, groovy and delicious wines, the best service, vibey tunes and if you’re lucky you’ll get all of this whilst dining under the full moon. My new weekly hangout!
Delicious food, service attentive but not rushed, lovely view of the ocean. Re food, was disappointed that the bbq octopus is no longer on the menu, even though the on-line menu shows that it is; and for those who don't like coriander, be warned, the mussels were garnished with it, even though it didn't get a mention on the menu. Having said that, the scallops were perfect, and there were four on the plate, not three; the vodka cured salmon was sublime, and the two desserts tasted as good as they looked. Background music not to my taste, but we were outside and couldn't hear it once seated.
Great staff very polite and informative, bang on point.Slight problem that mains where put through to be sent out straight after entrees with no break, however, we were given the option to wait and have them remade. We said it was okay. Situations was explained and apologised for and a free bottle of bubbles. So nice to have honesty instead of trying to cover it up or fob it off. Food was wonderful as always, our 4th visit there. Whenever we have guests we take them there. A lovely Mother's day lunch.
The owners have a real passion for providing sumptuous food for the Coffs Harbour region. The staff are very friendly and have an eye for detail. We dine at Rattle regularly, and have never been disappointed. We love the 'new' menu. Thanks for your hospitality. Dale and Lou.
Enjoyed a family dinner celebrating 18th. Great views of sea, steak night was a hit with us and the staff were great. Made some special drinks and looked after us. Wonderful evening.
A true gem of Emerald Beach and for the Coffs Coast. Hugh and his team, while small in numbers, showcase the best service and hospitality skills/experience I have witnessed on the Coffs Coast. Their cocktails and coffees are wonderfully presented and orders are taken with ease. Stunning ocean views set a wonderful backdrop and a range of moody jazz and house music make for an excellent mood maker for fun and conversation. I would strongly recommend Rattle for anyone who values outstanding food with accompanying service and experience.
Honestly, if you drove from Sydney to eat the mussels in the magic sauce, and then drove back home to Sydney, it'd be worth it. Unreal joint. Don't miss it.

Thursday night was very busy. We ordered the lamb shoulder but had to wait 90 minutes before it was served. We had almost decided to leave, however the lamb was absolutely superb, meltingly tender and the accompanying chips and broccoli very tasty. We took half of the lamb home and had delicious lamb sandwiches next day. The staff were very helpful

We recently visited Rattle Restaurant & Bar in Emerald Beach for a birthday dinner, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Despite booking on short notice, the staff were incredibly accommodating and ensured we had a great spot, making the evening feel special from the start.We started with fresh oysters as an entree, which were beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh a perfect way to kick off the meal. From there, we indulged in seared scallops, grilled octopus, and Wagyu steak, each cooked to perfection. The seared scallops had a beautiful caramelisation, the grilled octopus was smoky and tender, and the Wagyu steak was rich, juicy, and full of flavour.One of the highlights of the night was exploring the cocktail menu. Whether it was a classic Negroni, a tropical Figgy Smalls, or something a little more adventurous, every drink was well-crafted and balanced.To top it all off, we managed to get the crème brûlée as a takeaway, which was the perfect way to end the night. It was silky smooth with a perfectly crisp caramelised top, just as good as if we had enjoyed it at the restaurant.The atmosphere was relaxed yet stylish, with ocean views from the outdoor seating that made the night even more special. The friendly and attentive staff made sure everything ran smoothly, creating a fantastic dining experience.For a special occasion, a casual drink, or just an excuse to enjoy great food and cocktails, Rattle Restaurant & Bar is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the cocktail menu!
